Senior Executive Producer / Head of Production

Elizabeth Fischer joined NBCUniversal in 1991 and has served as Senior Executive Producer and Head of Production since March 2018. She has developed and overseen a wide-spectrum of well-received and highly rated projects for clients including History, A&E, Discovery, Sundance, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, MSNBC, TLC, Lifetime, and CNBC.

Elizabeth has launched several successful series including, Disappeared, now in its ninth season, Keith Morrison Investigates, Hate in America, and Unraveled. She has also supvervised breaking news and documentary specials, including the ratings record breaker, The Rise and Fall of El Chapo, Black and Blue, Behind Closed Doors: Shocking Secrets, Everest Avalanche Tragedy and Dangerous Day Ahead. In addition to her numerous contributions to the production side of the company, Elizabeth has played a central role in development at Peacock. She has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and is the recipient of two Gracies and a Clarion Award. She is a graduate of Brown University.
